The Bloc of Yulia Tymoshenko (BYuT) is going to address the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) and the Venice Commission if the Verkhovna Rada amends its regulations giving go-ahead to the formation of coalition based on MPs factions and individual MPs, Deputy Vice Premier Hryhoriy Nemyria told the press Thursday, UKRINFORM reported.
"If such amendments are made and Viktor Yanukovych sings them, our team lead by Yulia Tymoshenko will surely ask the PACE and the Venice Commission to give an impartial estimate of compliance of such changes with international standards," Nemyria said.
As reported, at the proposal of the Party of Regions' faction, the amendments were passed in first reading to the law on the parliamentary rules, saying that not only factions but also individual deputies may form the coalition.
