Once in opposition, BYuT plans to create a so-called "shadow" government.
"We will work very effectively in opposition. According to norms in
the parliamentary rules, we will form a shadow Cabinet of Ministers
that will be headed by Yulia Tymoshenko," People’s Deputy Serhiy
Podhorny (BYuT) said today, according to Tymoshenko's official website.
According to the parliamentarian, the opposition government will
include professionals who will monitor the work of the ruling
government in their field. "We will select appropriate ministers. It
won’t be the case as with the previous cabinet, where the ministers
weren’t selected by the prime minister. This wasn’t so much her team,
because people were there based on the quote principle, people from
former President Yushchenko, who didn’t always support her positions,"
explained Serhiy Podhorny.
"And as Yulia Tymoshenko said, we won’t allow President Yanukovych to play golf and tennis," he noted.
