The Party of Regions faction demanded from Verkhovna Rada Chairman Volodymyr Lytvyn to announce whether there are the necessary 226 votes in the coalition of three factions OU-PSD, BYuT and Lytvyn's Bloc, MP Anatoliy Kinakh has said today on behalf of the Regions Party.

"We officially demand to announce availability or absence of 226 people's deputies in the coalition," he said, UKRINFORM reported.

According to Kinakh, it is necessary because in case of absence a new coalition will be formed to carry out reforms.

On February 17, VR Chairman Volodymyr Lytvyn requested the Coalition Council to present all documents within 10 days that prove existence of the coalition in the Parliament, in particular 226 signatures of people's deputies.
