Serhiy Liovochkin has been appointed head of the presidential administration, deputy party leader Anna Herman informed. Acording to her Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has already signed a decree to that effect on February 25.

Liovochkin, born in 1972, is a Ukrainian MP of the sixth convocation. In 2006-2007 he headed the Service of Prime Minister of Ukraine under premiership of Viktor Yanukovych.

With another decree the new president has renamed the Presidential Secretariat into the Presidential Administration. According to Herman, this decree has been adopted with the purpose of staff cut by 20%, reduction of staff salary and expenses of the state budget.
