Verkhovna Rada Speaker Volodymyr Lytvyn does not want to abandon his initiative to confirm the existence of the current parliamentary coalition of BYuT, OU-PSD and his own bloc.
Lytvyn is going to return to this subject again at the March 2 plenary meeting and ask the council of the coalition to present documents with signatures of at least 226 MPs.
"Give me 226 signatures of any coalition, and I will then declare that a new, old, modernized coalition exists," he said.
If the relevant documents are not provided, so he will have to announce that there is no coalition.
