Ukraine's Education and Culture Ministry is offering to add the list of documents issued by Ukrainian institutes of higher education with an Addendum to a European-style graduation certificate, UKRINFORM reported.
Thus, if the proposals are endorsed by the government, the Ukrainian education certificates may be recognized abroad, the ministry press-service reported.
"This document is obligatory in the overwhelming majority of the Bologna Process participating countries and is issued along with diplomas. Thanks to the credit system (European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS)) to be provided in the addendum, this document will contribute to a fair academic and professional recognition of qualifications worldwide. A Ukrainian diploma with such addendum will be adequately assessed in any country participating in the Bologna Process," the ministry officials say.
