President Victor Yushchenko met with Chairman of the Supreme Administrative Court of Ukraine Oleksandr Pasenyuk, presidential press office reported.

The President appealed to the Supreme Administrative Court to ensure the legitimacy and efficiency of reviewing all the complaints filed by each of the contenders for the post of President of Ukraine.

According to Yushchenko, one of candidates to the post of President of Ukraine, Yulia Tymoshenko approached him with information that, according to her, during the election serious violations of the election legislation were allowed. Therefore, Tymoshenko intends to appeal against returns of the presidential election in Ukraine to the Supreme Administrative Court.

"I wish to ensure legitimate transfer of power to the legitimate President," Yushchenko has said.

According to official election returns announced by the CEC, leader of the Regions Party Viktor Yanukovych is a winner in the second round of the presidential election. He has 48.95% of electors' votes against 45.47% of incumbent Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko.

Candidate to President, Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko in her TV address on February 13 stated about her decision to appeal to court against election returns.
