On February 16 Yulia Tymoshenko plans to file a lawsuit in the High
Administrative Court on the illegality of the protocol of the Central
Election Commission establishing the official election results.
"The subject of the claim can only be a presidential candidate, not the campaign office or political force," Oleksandr Turchynov, the head of Yulia Tymoshenko’s central campaign office, said at a briefing.
Yulia Tymoshenko will be represented in court by former president Leonid Kravchuk, leader of Rukh Borys Tarasyuk, the head of Batkivshchyna’s legal department Andriy Portnov, Yulia Tymoshenko’s representative to the CEC Volodymyr Pylypenko, deputy head of BYuT Serhiy Sobolev, and People's Deputy from BYuT Andriy Senchenko.
According to Oleksandr Turchynov, Yulia Tymoshenko’s team obtained the CEC protocol on the official election results not without some difficulty. "There were various explanations - that there was no light, that there were technical problems. We were able to get the protocol from the Central Election Commission only an hour ago."
