BYuT MP Oleksandr Turchynov declares that BYuT have the first legal evidence of fraud committed in favor of Yanukovych in the second round of the presidential elections, according to Tymoshenko's website.

"In election district 5 (city of Kerch) we succeeded in getting the first recount of votes at polling station 20, despite the extreme resistance by representatives of Yanukovych. As a result of the recount, it was revealed that the figures given to the Central Election Commission from this polling station gave Yanukovych 8% more votes than he actually received. There is documented evidence," he said in a statement.

"Afterwards, we succeeded in getting a recount at six other polling stations. In all instances, there was the same type of fraud in favor of Yanukovych. And immediately after this, representatives of his campaign blocked all our legal demands for a recount at other polling stations," he explained.

Turchynov states that this allows BYuT to talk about the systematic nature and scale of similar violations. "Therefore, I will state that during the second round of the presidential elections there was fraud that significantly affected the results and calls into question the outcome of the vote," he said.

Given that similar violations occurred in other oblasts of Ukraine, in particular the Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts, today BYuT submitted to the Central Election Commission documents, demanding a recount at more than 900 polling stations.

"We’re ready to provide this evidence of fraud to international observers, journalists, the public and the courts," he summed up.
