Foreign investors believe in Ukraine's future. 46.1% believe that following completion of the presidential election the situation will turn for the better, 30% expect no changes and only 9.6% forecast worsening, UKRINFORM reported.

These are returns of the study carried out by the SEOLA Group Ideas Factory. Participating in the poll were heads of 697 investment companies from 34 world countries.

Nevertheless, investors are not in a hurry to realize long-term projects in Ukraine. By forecasts of 58% of those interrogated, over nearest two years our country should count mainly on short-term investments. 25% of respondents believe that investors will take a risk to invest the funds for a five-year period. Only 5% are convinced that long-term investments will come to Ukraine (over five years).

Also, foreign investors expect to see the working anti-crisis program, 85.8% of respondents accentuated their attention on it (respondents could choose several variants of answers).

While making an action plan for a new president in fighting the crisis, respondents included into the list consolidation of all power branches (92%), the constitutional reform (85.2%) and creation of a long-term strategy of Ukraine's development (79.9%).

The study was carried out on January 11-29, 2010. Participants in the poll were chosen among the companies managing capital from EUR 500 million to over EUR 10 billion. Geography of studies includes Europe, North America, the CIS countries, Asia and the Middle East.
