Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko is urging voters to mobilize to not allow criminals to come to power based on the results of the second round of presidential elections, Tymoshenko's official website reported.

"I know that all those 60% of Ukrainian citizens who voted for democratic candidates and those people who perhaps did not come out and vote, will definitely come this time to defend Ukraine, and will make sure that criminals do not come to absolute power in Ukraine. That’s why we need the mobilization of all people of goodwill," Yulia Tymoshenko said while opening a government meeting.

Yulia Tymoshenko believes a positive result of the first round of voting is the fact that over 60% of citizens expressed a preference for democratic candidates, a new course for Ukraine, strengthening independence and Ukraine’s European prospects.

"I want to express my deep gratitude to all citizens of Ukraine who voted and fulfilled their civic duty, and to thank all those who are not indifferent to the elections in Ukraine," Yulia Tymoshenko stressed.
