President Viktor Yushchenko believes it is inadmissible to pay for Russian consumed gas using foreign currency reserve, he said during his meeting with residents of Uman, Cherkasy region.
"The total sum of money paid for Russian natural gas consumed in 2009 reached almost USD 4 billion, out of which USD 3 billion was taken from the foreign currency reserve of the National Bank of Ukraine", Viktor Yushchenko states.
