Candidate for President and current Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko announced today that she plans to file an appeal with the court demanding the cancellation of the January 4 decision by the Central Election Commission allowing voting at home without documentation confirming that a voter is unable to move independently, which she sees as a model for falsifying the election results.

"Today we are appealing to the courts to once again prove that the part of the CEC representing Viktor Yanukovych is getting ready to falsify the elections. We will appeal to the courts to rescind this decision," Yulia Tymoshenko said today during a briefing in Boryspil airport prior to a working visit to the Vinnyytsia oblast, Tymoshenko's offiial website reported.

Yulia Tymoshenko also announced that she plans to notify observers from the OSCE and other international organizations of the Central Election Commission’s decision.

"Today I am preparing a special appeal to international institutions that monitor elections.. I will sign an appeal to the OSCE, all diplomatic offices in Ukraine, and through our embassies in other countries I will convey information that Mr.. Yanukovych and his corrupt majority in the CEC are planning to rig the elections. And I will do everything I can to prevent this,” she underscored.

She added that BYuT will insist on holding an extraordinary session of parliament if the CEC does not cancel its decision within three days.
