The overwhelming majority of the Ukrainians do not trust Verkhovna Rada (parliament).
During the press conference in
Kyiv Olha Balakireva, Yaremenko Social Studies Institute
CEO, disclosed these results of a public opinion poll they had
held. 84% of the respondents do not trust lawmakers, and 56% trust
television, she said.
79% do not trust the National Bank, 78% the
Cabinet of Ministers, 76% political parties, 70% the police, 66%
prosecutor's offices, 58% trade unions, and 55% the Security
Service.
At the same time, 52% trust the radio, 50% newspapers, 41% religious organizations, and 38% city heads.
