Today Kyiv has held the presentation of the official logo for UEFA EURO 2012. The event took place in Mykhailivska square in the center of the capital.
The logo has a flower with three petals: one in the form of a ball, the second is made of yellow-blue colors symbolizing Ukraine and the third one is white-red symbolizing Poland. The event slogan 'Creating History Together' has been also unveiled.

The opening ceremony for the
UEFA EURO 2012 symbol has seen red, white, yellow and blue air balloons
launched into the sky that symbolize the Polish and Ukrainian flags.
High rank officials, including president Yushchenko, prime minister Tymoshenko and UEFA head Platini, took part in the ceremony.
