The Cabinet of Ministers will create a special body that will make
decisions regarding immunizations, Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko
announced during a meeting with immunologists, according to the Premier's official web-site.
According to her, this will be either a scientific,
scientific-organizational council or expert group. "But this needs to
be a constantly functioning group, whose composition may change. The
result of their work will be a clearly outlined strategy for immunizing
the Ukrainian population," Yulia Tymoshenko noted.
"Today we're holding a meeting to identify tactics and strategies
on immunization in Ukraine. Today, there are difficult epidemic
conditions, Ukraine and the world face a great challenge, we have to
think on the one hand how to prevent the spread of the virus, protect
people and create conditions so that the epidemic ends as soon as
possible, and on the other hand we need to think about a strategy for
organizing the immunization system in Ukraine," the head of government
believes.
"When the country faces such difficult challenges as today's
epidemic, we need to not only think about how to protect people, but
how to create a strategy for protecting our people," she concluded.
