Yushchenko congraulated Angela Merkel

The President congratulated Angela Merkel on her political force winning the election to the German Bundestag, presidential press office reported.

During the conversation the President of Ukraine, in particular, expressed hope for support from Germany for European and Euro-Atlantic aspirations of Ukraine.

Also sides spoken for further development of bilateral dialogue, including contacts at the highest level.
