The Prime
Minister Yulia Tymoshenko declares that furthering of cooperation with the
International Monetary Fund appears crucial. The Head of Government informed
during the Sixth Yalta annual meeting “Vision of the future of
“As Prime Minister I can affirm that I will do
my best to make such cooperation effective, productive till the end of the
crisis and to prolong it further,” Yulia Tymoshenko stressed.
The Prime
Minister emphasized that cooperation with the IMF is one of the most effective
anti-crisis programs of the Government of Ukraine: “Unless we had had such
cooperation between the Government and the IMF, in fact it means elaboration of
those top-priority effective bail-out measures jointly with the world experts,
unless we had had timely earmarked resources, unless we had possessed support
of the European Union and other countries – IMF founders, I can tell you that
consequences of the crunch would be hard to predict”.
