The head of the IMF mission in Ukraine Dzheyla Pazarbaziolu notes positive sides of Ukraine’s fight against the crisis. She said speaking at the “Yalta economic strategy” on Friday.
“Ukraine is going through deep crisis. There are lots of problems to deal with and Ukraine has something to be criticized for,” she said.
At the same time, according to her “there are positive moments.”
“Look what the National bank has done. It carried out a stress-test among the commercial banks. And it was done before the same procedure took place in the US. The bank carried out diagnosis and program of banks’ recapitalization,” Pazarbaziolu said.
She reminded that overcoming of the bank crisis pushes the economic development. In particular, according to Pazarbaziolu, it happened in Mexico.
