The
Government of Ukraine is interested in launch of a system dialog with China. The Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia
Tymoshenko announced during a meeting with the delegation of Communist Party of
the People’s Republic of China led by Shanghai Communist Party
Secretary, member of political bureau of the Central Committee of CPC Yu Zhengsheng.
Yulia
Tymoshenko noted that the current visit of the delegation of Communist Party of
China is first of all advancement of effective cooperation that has become more
intense in recent months: “I consider your visit will give us hope to
strengthen this dynamics”.
The Prime
Minister emphasized that the Government of Ukraine has worked out working
models and concrete propositions along various directions of possible bilateral
cooperation and the teams of both Ukraine and China are already introducing these
issues. “I as the Prime Minister and the whole Government team will spare no
effort to introduce these projects. Our team pins great hopes on development of
our cooperation,” Yulia Tymoshenko stressed.
Yulia
Tymoshenko also explained Ukraine and China has the same vision on how our
economics would get out of the crisisr: “In the time
of such crisis Ukraine also wants to modernize,
reconstruct its main structures so that to get out of the crisis stronger and
here our plans and strategic views absolutely coincide”.
Moreover,
the Premier congratulated members of the delegation on the 60-th anniversary of
proclaiming of the People’s Republic of China: “I want to congratulate you on
this date and to wish prosperity and success to your people”.
In his
turn, the head of the delegation, Shanghai Communist Party Secretary Yu Zhengsheng
noted that relations between Ukraine and China are deepening dynamically.
According to him, the Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko pays great
efforts in this direction: “We express You our
gratitude and appreciate Your support in many crucial issues”.
Yu Zhengsheng also underlined over the recent years trade and
economic cooperation between Ukraine and China is developing rapidly. According to
him, despite the fact that the global financial-economic crunch has led to
shortening of trade turnover between the two countries, within nearest time the
previous dynamics is to be resumed.
