From January 1 the Government will raise salary for employees of health protection area by 20% in average irrespective of whether the State Budget for 2010 is approved, Government portal informed.

The Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko announced during her visit of Kyiv city oncologic hospital today. “It is hard for us to raise wages sharply in these crisis times but we will add for seniority for the doctors,” Yulia Tymoshenko promised.

Moreover, Yulia Tymoshenko aired the Gov’t furthers financing of the national program on fight against oncologic diseases and reminded that a respective Government’s draft law is awaiting for consideration in the Verkhovna Rada of
