Commenting the 2010 national budget draft, Lytvyn noted that it cuts the financing of Verkhovna Rada by a third, when sums for the President were boosted by 26%, and for the Cabinet of Ministers by 12.4%. He suggested that the state management be cut by a third, and excessive appointments be prevented at central bodies of executive power.
