Twelve companies have requested documents for participation in a tender on the sale of a 99.567% stake in OJSC Odesa Portside Plant, the State Property Fund's press service has reported.
The press service has not named the companies and their geographical location.
A week earlier, documents for participation in the tender were requested by 11 companies from Ukraine, Russia, Austria, and Georgia.
As reported, the companies interested in the privatization of the Odesa Portside Plant also include the Ukrainian subsidiaries of large international investment banks, particularly ING.
The State Property Fund announced a tender on the sale of a 99.567% stake in the plant on July 15, 2009. The starting price is UAH 4 billion. The tender should be held 75 days after it is announced, according to UkrInform.
