The Ukrainian branch of Interpol is hoping to receive confirmation soon from the Israeli police regarding the possible location of former MP Viktor Lozinsky in Israel, Public Relations Department of the Interior Ministry of Ukraine told Interfax-Ukraine, quoting information provided by the National Central Bureau of Interpol in Ukraine.

According to the report, Ukrainian law enforcers sent an official request to Israel on the very day information about Lozinsky's possible location in this country appeared.

Speaking about the time it might take the Israeli authorities to process the request, Interior Ministry officials said: "There are no strict terms for this. It depends on the complexity of the case. We don't see any complexity here, that is why the Ukrainian Interpol hopes to get a quick reply from its Israeli colleagues."
