The Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko has expressed the words of support to Shakhtar FC (Donetsk) in connection with early end to compete in the Champion’s League, government portal reported.

I want to address you just now. You have presented to Ukraine a brilliant victory in the UEFA Cup, you have given maximum in physical and psychological aspects. You are the winners! However, temporary failures just harden our will and make us become stronger. I know that like nobody else. Such trials in sport exist just to give a chance to accumulate strength for the next spurt and eliminate mistakes.
Real boxers withstand every blow and every time rise to their feet. I don’t hesitate that you are like them! As no matter which your fate in the tournament is, everyone knows that Shakhtar is the best, the strongest, the most wonderful team. All the victories are ahead for you and I believe you will definitely win the main trophy of the Champion’s League just like you have won the UEFA Cup.
I think you are well aware that real fans are tested not in victories but in temporary failures. I will always remain your true fan.
