On August 15016 in Kovalivka village in Kyiv oblast the first international ethnographic festival “Stubble 2009” will take place, ForUm informs, referring to informative agency “Interculture”.
The organizers of the festival promise that the guests and visitors of the festival will become its direct participants. In particular, they will be able to participate in setting of the big sheaf which will be listed in the Record Book of Ukraine. The gusts will also have a possibility to hammer sickle, to mow and thrash sheaf, to mill grain into flour, to make dough and make rural bread.
Moreover the festival foresees master-classes on smithery, straw wicker-work, pottery, embroidery and other Ukrainian tradition arts. The performances of authentic music bands will also take place.
