Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko has met with the Patriarch Kirill, the meeting took place in Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra monastery, the ForUm’s correspondent informs.
They discussed relations between the church and the state, issues on spiritual revival and return of our peoples to Christian values, problems of orthodox in Ukraine.
“I arrived in Ukraine in order to pray together with people, because I believe in great power of prayer,” Patriarch Kirill noted at the beginning of the meeting.
In turn Yulia Tymoshenko also noted the importance of prayer in such difficult times when not only Ukraine suffers from the crisis.
