The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has put former Bloc of Yulia Tymoshenko MP Viktor Lozinsky on the wanted list to implement an order issued by the Prosecutor General's Office, UKRINFORM reported, referring to the SBU press service.

The SBU is searching for Lozinsky, born on April 6, 1963, a native of the village of Holovanivsk, Kirovohrad region, suspected of committing a serious crime, the press service said.

As a reminder, the Ukrainian parliament took away Lozinsky's deputy immunity on July 3. Lozinsky, a suspect in a criminal case on the murder of a man, submitted a statement on terminating his deputy powers at his own request.

The criminal case was opened due to the death of Valeriy Oliynyk, a resident of Kirovohrad region, on June 16. Prosecutors said that ex-MP Lozinsky, the former prosecutor of Holovanivsk district, Kirovohrad region, Yevhen Horbenko, and the former head of the Holovanivsk district police department, Mykhailo Kovalsky, had deliberately inflicted a serious bodily harm on Oliynyk that resulted in his death.
