Increase of an excise rate on beer will enable to obtain additional incomes to the budget and direct UAH 160 million to provide the sick with insulin. The Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko stressed today, on opening a Governmental session, government portal reported.
“Owing to the fact we have succeeded to pass this Law in the Verkhovna Rada and overcome the President’s veto, which was laid under unknown reasons, 160 million hryvnyas can be directed as an aid to the sick with diabetes,” Yulia Tymoshenko emphasized.
Thereupon, the Prime Minister empowered the Finance Ministry to include respective changes to the Budget.
