Two-three years ago the Ukrainians were glad to buy cars, flats, goods on “green” credits. The banks set not so big interests and dollar seemed to be a stable currency. However after well-known events the majority of people turned to be in uneasy situation: dollar rate hiked, people should pay off their loans by means of their “reduced” hryvnya salaries. MPs finally have heard the indignation of the people: the VRU has cancelled dollar credits, the ForUm’s correspondent informs.

Today the parliament has adopted the law “On changes into some legislative acts of Ukraine in order to overcome negative consequences of the financial crisis.”

This law foresees ban on foreign currency credits for private persons for nonproductive purposes. There is a norm on dollar credits only for without cash transfers.

So now Ukrainians will not see “green” credits any more.
