The Party of Regions is afraid that the state budget can be used as one of the sources of the financing of the Presidential campaign for election campaign of Yulia Tymoshenko.
“Tymoshenko announced about her decision to run for presidency and next day she said she had no intention to resign as Prime Minister. It means that election headquarters of Yulia Tymoshenko will be moved to the Cabinet of Ministers building. Taking into consideration all problems on the state budget, I am sure that the state budget will be used as a wallet of this political force during election campaign,” Deputy head of the Party of Regions faction Oleksandr Yefremov told journalists on Monday in Kyiv, the ForUm’s correspondent informs.
He noted that the government tries to have manual mode management not only of the economy but also of financing.
