Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko calls the situation with payments for consumed gas as “very complicated”.
“I gathered you because I think the situation on gas payments is a very complicated, tense and even dangerous,” Prime Minister said that today during the meeting with governors and heads of the heating and communal energy service in Kyiv, the ForUm’s correspondent informs.
Yulia Tymoshenko informed that the total sun of debt for gas makes UAH 26 billion. And every month this sum is increasing, accumulating and turns into a threat for the country.
PM noted that heating and communal energy has debts in amount of UAH 7.7 billion. At the same time she added that Ukraine plans to import in June gas at amount of USD 250 million and in July – USD 1 billion.
