President Viktor Yushchenko awarded "For Merit" Order of the third degree to former Russian Ambassador to Ukraine Viktor Chernomyrdin, the presidential press office reported.
The order was awarded at the meeting between Viktor Yushchenko Viktor Chernomyrdin on occasion of the end of the diplomatic mission of the Ambassador to Ukraine.
Viktor Yushchenko wished former Ambassador health and further success.
As a reminer, on June 11 Dmitry Medvedev dismissed Chernomyrdin as the Russian Ambassador to Ukraine.
