Yulia Tymoshenko, the Prime Minister of Ukraine, declares the country isn’t under threat of default. The Head of Government informed today on air of the Svoboda Slova program on ICTV channel. “While I am Prime Minister, Ukraine will not move a step closer to default,” Yulia Tymoshenko claimed, government portal reported.

The Premier stressed during the nine months significant activity has been led into joining of the political forces with an aim “to create a solid national team in the face of the crisis”. According to her, Lytvyn’s Bloc, the majority of OU-PSD and other political forces were ready to unite.

The Head of Government explained breakdown of the negotiation process forced to leave illusions and helped to realize in the fight against crisis one can rely only on his own strength: “I have enough vigour and psychological strength to withstand all the challenges. I am well aware now that none is to rely on, I have bid my farewell to illusions,” Yulia Tymoshenko stressed.
