The Gov’t has started today’s sitting with a minute’s silence to honour the miners who died in an accident at the Skochynsky mine of Donetsk region, government portal reported.
The Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko informed the Gov’t would approve a decision on allocation from the State Reserve Fund of money to the victims, families of the killed miners and also to restore functioning of the enterprise.
Yulia Tymoshenko imparted, for now there is information about 9 dead pitmen while fate of 4 miners remains unknown. “I would like on behalf of the Government to address the President to declare mourning for the perished miners,” Yulia Tymoshenko told.
The Head of Government reminded the accident at the mine had occurred through violation of rules of safety.
