Deputy chairman of the PR faction Oleksandr Yefremov considers that under current political situation in the country, the President Viktor Yushchenko should resign. He told parliamentary journalists, the ForUm’s correspondent informs.

“I think in this situation it would be logic for President to resign and hold elections, because without elections we can’t change the situation in the country,” he said. According to him, if Yushchenko does not resign, the parliament must appoint a new date for Presidential election.

“The most lawyers consider election should take place in January but I think this date can be set earlier if there is such agreement,” he said.
