On commission of the First Vice Prime Minister Olexandr Turchynov a Governmental commission to investigate the reasons of an accident at the Skochynsky mine of Donetsk region has been set up and is operating on the site of tragedy. The Minister of Coal Industry Viktor Poltavets heads the commission, according to government portal.
The accident at the Skochynsky mine occurred at 10:20 a.m on June 8. The Governmental commission was set up at 11:00 a.m. During the accident at the mine 53 miners were under ground. 39 were led out, 2 miners died. According to Olexandr Turchynov, search activities are underway and haven’t ceased for a minute.
