The leader of the Party of Regions Viktor Yanukovych stated on necessity to elect next President of Ukraine by mean of the people but not by the VRU. He also stressed that the PR refused from the coalition with BYuT, but can resume negotiations concerning formation of wide coalition in the parliament after the Presidential elections. Yanukovych said that on Sunday on one of the TV channel, the ForUm’s correspondent informs.
According to Yanukovych, the President must be elected by means of general election. Especially now, when a new President will have to deal with complex issues and possibly introduce unpopular measures.
“I have no intention to politize negotiations or their fail for achievement of short-term political dividends. I should say that those negotiations we held with our partners, gave ,uch for the perspevtive. We will certainly use this negotiation way to unity after the Presidential election,” he added.
