The slander, ungrounded accusations, outspoken offends and frank rudeness, which minister for internal affairs Yuriy Lutsenko ventured against the Party of Regions faction Deputy Head, one of the party leaders Boris Kolesnikov, were fairly judged by the Kyiv Court of Appeal. This Court pleaded Yuriy Lutsenko’s speeches delivered from the parliamentary tribune on April 7, 2005 invalid and hurting honor and dignity, and obliged Lutsenko and the Ministry for Internal Affairs of Ukraine to refute these statements and apologize to Boris Kolesnikov at the parliamentary tribune.
Earlier the same decree was issued by the Kyiv Pechersk Court, and today the Kyiv Court of Appeal left this decree in full.
The Party of Regions asks Volodymyr Lytvyn, the Verkhovna Rada Speaker, to ensure an immediate refutation at the parliamentary tribune of slander and offends ventured by minister Lutsenko against one of the leaders of our political force.
We resolutely point out the inadmissibility of such shameless, rough and cynical behavior, which has been constantly demonstrated against the Ukrainians and against the state by minister Yuriy Lutsenko.
