President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko does not exclude national referendum in order to adopt changes to the Constitution, submitted by him. He said that in an interview, the ForUm’s correspondent informs.
“If the political forces manipulate the Constitution, I will set national referendum,” the President said.
The President noted that Ukraine needs new Constitution which strictly defines authorities of all branches of power and provides effective work and responses to all changes which the country faces.
“In such a way we will find answers how to harmonize the economy, arrange social life, how to create new working places… We will never realize this policy until we do not form basis for development of the country by means of a new Constitution,” Yushchenko said.
