The Patriot vessel with one Ukrainian national aboard, which was released by Somali pirates on May 19, has arrived in the port of Al Hudaydah, Yemen.
The representatives of the vessel's owner met the ship and its crew and provided them with all the necessary assistance, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said referring to the information of the Hamburg-based Johann Blumenthal Company, which owns the ship, Interfax-Ukraine reported.
According to the company's leadership, all the crewmembers are in satisfactory health condition.
The Ukrainian crewmember made a phone call to his relatives. "The company is planning to compensate him for the lost belongings, the Foreign Ministry's statement reads.
According to the ship owner, the Ukrainian decided to stay on board the vessel for four weeks to complete the voyage.
Somali pirates seized the Patriot vessel and its crew, including a Ukrainian national, on April 25.
