MP from the Party of Regions faction Inna Bohoslovska says she is leaving the party and plans to run for Ukraine's presidency, according to Interfax-Ukraine.

"I have taken a responsible decision: I am leaving the Party of Regions and going to win 2010 presidential election in Ukraine. I am entering this race to guarantee employment, order and faith in the country upon becoming the president," MP said in a statement sent to Interfax-Ukraine on Monday.

According to Bohoslovska, the president must be responsible namely for strategic issues of domestic and foreign policy, security, human rights and freedoms. She also recalled that her team outlined a strategy of Ukraine’s development as early as four years ago.

Considering the financial crisis, Bohoslovska proposes to focus on three values – work, order, and trust, according to UNIAN.
