Speaking at his press conference at the meeting of the Council of People’s Union Our Ukraine on Saturday, President Yushchenko said that he still supports the idea of holding early election of the Parliament and the President simultaneously, president's press service reported.
Explaining the position he said that de facto there is no majority in the Parliament and it still remains the source of political instability in the state. Beside that, according to Viktor Yushchenko, early elections would allow altering currently imperfect electoral system.
“The election should bring the new meaning rather than repeating mistakes," said Viktor Yushchenko.
