President Viktor Yushchenko went with an official visit to the Swiss Confederation, according to the President`s press office.
Main aim of the visit is to strengthen bilateral cooperation between the states at the highest level and setting up political conditions for further development of cooperation, particularly economic.
During his visit, Yushchenko is scheduled to meet with the Swiss leaders, including President Hans Rudolf Merz.
Yushchenko will also take part in the work of the Swiss economic forum, and meet with that country’s businessmen.
In the evening on May 15, President Yushchenko will return to Kyiv.
