The Constitutional Court of Ukraine has admitted illegal the date of holding Presidential election on October 25, 2009.
As a reminder, 401 MPs voted for holding Presidential election on October 25. After that the President Viktor Yushchenko applied to the CCU with request to consider constitutionality of such decision of the VRU.
On May 13 the CCU is going to publicize the decision on President’s application on constitutionality of the resolution of the VRU on election date.
According to the press service of the CCU, the Presidential election should be appointed for January 17, 2010.
