"Patriotic education is a separate segment which needs very careful work. We should form the Ukrainian personality from the cradle," he said on Saturday at a meeting with veterans at the town of Snizhny, Luhansk region, Yatseniuk's press service reported.
The leader of the Front for Change said that he had come to congratulate the war veterans as an ordinary citizen. "Last year I came here as a chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, and today I am here as an ordinary Ukrainian. First of all, I am here to express my deep respect to all those who perished during the war. It is necessary for al people to recognize that this was a great victory over the 20th century plague - the Nazism," Yatseniuk said.
