The Cabinet of Ministers of
Ukraine decided to sell out 61.58% of the shares in aviation company Ukraine
International Airlines (Kyiv) in 2009, according to UKRINFORM.
With the relevant
resolution, the government amended its resolution of December 3, 2008 on the
list of companies whose state-run shareholdings are subject for sale in 2009.
The Cabinet of Ministers
also decided to sell 100% of the shares in aviation company Air Ukraine (Kyiv),
35.52% of the shares in Rivne-based Universal Avia, and stakes in a number of
other enterprises. In all, 135 new objects
were put on the 2009 privatization list.
In 2009, the State Property
Fund of Ukraine must transfer to the national budget almost UAH 9 billion (UAH
7.70 / USD 1), including UAH 8.5 billion of privatization receipts and UAH
555.5 million of pay for the rent of the national property.
