A meeting of Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko with rural heads from Lviv, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Volyn, Sumy, Poltava, Luhansk, Vinnytsya, Kirovograd regions was held today, ForUm informs, referring to the governmnet portal.
In the course of the event the Head of Government touched upon issues of social-economic development of rural settlements that necessitate considering on a Governmental level. In particular, the problems raised included solving land issues, improvement of normative-legal base, medical care of village inhabitants, cadre supply of local self-government bodies, use of communal property, carrying out an administrative-territorial reform, environment, accomplishment of the territories etc.
On the outcomes of the meeting respective central executive authorities are to prepare a series of normative-legal acts to be approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine within nearest time.
The mentioned event took place in the frames of readying of an all-Ukrainian meeting of rural heads called to consider joint actions of the Government and local self-government bodies destined to solve the problems of social-economic development of rural settlements, which is slated for the end of May of the current year.
