President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko and Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko hope that reconsideration of Memorandum on cooperation with International Monetary Fund in May of the current year will be successful and Ukraine will manage to get the third tranche of stand-by loan in May-June.
It is said in the letter from April 15, forwarded to IMF managing director Dominique Strauss-Kahn from the President, PM, NBU head and Acting Finance Minister of Ukraine, the ForUm’s correspondent informs.
In particular the letter says that corrected program on cooperation will facilitate the process of crisis solution and will help to solve problems in financial sector.
As a reminder, on results of reconsideration of cooperation program the IMF is planning to grant Ukraine the second tranche in amount of USD 2.8 billion.
The third tranche is expected in late May after program reconsideration.
