The population of Ukraine is getting less. From February 1to March 1, 2009 the population of Ukraine has reduced by 14.7 thousand. On March 1, the population made 46.1 million people, according to state statistics committee, ForUm informs.
The urban population makes 31.6 million people.
In January-February 83.5 thousand people were born, 128 thousand – died.
According to last census, held in 2001, the population of Ukraine made - 48.457 million people.
